Client Blog: Michelle and friends’ dream trip to western Canada
Michelle contacted me back in 2020 to discuss a potential dream trip to experience Canada’s great outdoors with lifelong friends, Denise and Jeanette. Originally planned for the following year, the pandemic delayed their trip until summer 2022, but it certainly turned out to be worth the wait... A packed, two-week Canadian adventure with my best friends, encompassing a variety of experiences and seeing some essential places was the brief - and Susan totally nailed it. It was

“All your hotel selections were spot on” - Michelle, Simon and Jack
Susan, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you from us all. Canada was amazing - so vast and beautiful - and we had a fantastic time. It was well worth the wait. All your hotel selections were spot on - from the gorgeous log cabin in Clearwater to a skyscraper in Vancouver! Banff and Whistler were my personal favourite locations. We have been shopping, white water rafting, hiking around mountains, walking across scary suspension bridges (testing my fear of heights),

Client Blog: Sara & Steve’s Thailand adventure
I have had the pleasure of looking after Sara and Steve since 2013, and have booked them holidays to various destinations, such as South America, China and Russia. I love that they like to explore places slightly off the tourist trail and always enjoy their exciting itineraries. Their recent visit to Thailand and especially Elephant Hills was one I was eagerly looking forward to hearing about... We have booked several wonderful holidays with Susan including trips to China, Tr

Susan's Blog: The Isles of Scilly
St Mary's Ferry Quay Like many, I have been unable to embark upon planned long haul holidays but needing a change of scenery, I jumped at the opportunity when a supplier had a late cancellation for a week on the Isles of Scilly. It was not somewhere familiar to me but those people I know that had been all loved it and I am delighted to report that I did too. To make it feel authentic, where part of the fun is in reaching your destination, we drove to Penzance and stayed overn

Safari and Mauritius
When it comes to a couple's special holiday, such as an anniversary or honeymoon, it can sometimes be difficult to find a single destination that appeals to both. One half may want an adventure, the other to simply flop on a beautiful beach. Combining a spectacular African safari and Indian Ocean beach stay is just about the perfect choice. A safari is a very special experience, providing lasting memories. My partner and I have enjoyed two magnificent safari holidays, staying

The Seychelles
I am living proof that travel dreams can come true. In my younger days, I never thought that I would get to travel to the Seychelles, spend time on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, hang out with giant tortoises and get to stay overnight on a private island. This is unquestionably a dream destination for a holiday and with an impressive Covid vaccination programme in motion, once the world fully re-opens, the islands are ready and waiting to welcome UK guests. Canada's Wildlife
I just love wildlife and if you are anything like me, then you may know just how much can be found in this beautiful part of the world. I have been lucky enough to see bears in the Rockies and whales off the coast of Cape Breton Island, but my wildlife bucket list has plenty more, with the polar bears of Churchill and a stay in a bear viewing lodge on Vancouver Island both featured. Canada offers a broad range of wildlife diversity and some of the world’s most accessible view

The Rockies and the surrounding area
Trips through the Canadian Rockies are one of the most popular experiences that I book. I have visited this beautiful part of the world several times and had the fortune to travel twice on the spectacular Rocky Mountaineer train service. There is so much to see and plenty of ways to explore the Rockies and what I tailor make will depend on your available time, budget and interests, along with how you like to travel and how many excursions you may enjoy taking along the way.
