I was lucky enough to be invited to stay at the beautiful Ikos Aria in Kos earlier this year - and it did not disappoint. Although I already knew a lot about the Ikos brand and everything it had to offer, experiencing it first-hand was a real treat. The attention to detail, the ease, and the sheer level of thought that goes into every part of the holiday… it really did impress. Let me share what you can expect…
Ikos Resorts is a collection of award-winning luxury properties in stunning locations across Greece and Spain. From the sun-drenched Costa del Sol to the stunning island of Mallorca, and from the Halkidiki Peninsula in Northern Greece to the islands of Corfu and Kos, each resort offers its own unique setting, while maintaining the same high standards throughout.
If you tend to associate all-inclusive holidays with buffet queues and wristbands, Ikos will quickly change your mind. They’ve redefined what a luxury all-inclusive can be - offering Michelin-star dining, beautifully styled accommodation, premium drinks, thoughtful touches and a huge variety of activities, all included in the cost.
The Infinite Lifestyle concept is exactly that - generous, wide-ranging and impressively high-end. You can expect à la carte menus curated by Michelin-star chefs, 24-hour room service, a mini bar that’s replenished daily and even a choice of 300 international and local wines.
There’s also the option to dine out at carefully selected local restaurants, giving you the chance to sample the region’s flavours beyond the resort. Add in kids’ clubs, a limitless selection of activities and services, and it’s all included - at no extra cost.
One of the more unique touches is the Local Drive Adventure - a complimentary day with an electric car to explore the island at your own pace. I didn’t get to try it on this trip, but it’s such a thoughtful addition and a great way to discover more of the local area beyond the resort. Guests at Ikos Aria can use it to explore Kos’ dramatic coastline and tucked-away villages, or spend the evening dining on the rooftop of a traditional windmill with spectacular views across Kefalos Bay. I’ve already added it to my list for next time!
Ikos Aria itself enjoys a fantastic setting on a fully serviced beach, with heated indoor and outdoor pools, kids’ pools and splash parks, and a wide choice of restaurants and bars.
Whether you fancy cycling along the coast, a game of tennis or football, trying a yoga class, or simply relaxing in the spa’s Thermal Suite, there’s something for everyone - and it’s all included. Watersports, indoor and outdoor gyms, quiet spots for a peaceful read... the list goes on.
And for those wanting a little more luxury, the Ikos Deluxe Collection is another level altogether. It includes an upgraded suite, a welcome bottle of Taittinger champagne, complimentary spa treatments, a dedicated beach and pool area, even a packing and unpacking service, and a candlelit dinner by the sea. A real treat if you're celebrating something special - or just want to indulge.
Having now experienced it for myself, I can honestly say I see why so many come back from an Ikos holiday absolutely raving about it. It really is as good as people say - and then some.
So, whether you’re thinking of Kos, Corfu, Halkidiki or perhaps the Spanish Iberian coast resorts in Marbella or Majorca, here’s a quick summary of what’s on offer:
Ikos Aria, Kos
Stunning beachside setting, great dining and views across the Aegean. And that traditional Greek charm.

Ikos Dassia and Odisia, Corfu
Michelin-star menus, beach clubs and sea-view suites.
Ikos Olivia and Oceania, Halkidiki
Great for families and couples alike, with teppanyaki dining, sunset bars, Blue Flag beaches and views of Mount Olympus at Oceania.
Ikos Andalusia, Costa del Sol
Contemporary style with deluxe suites and four-bedroom villas, which come with a private pool and gym, plus a choice of nine restaurants.
Ikos Porto Petro, Majorca
Five pools, five à la carte restaurants, and The Market, a unique à la minute dining concept and a more laid-back island feel.
And coming soon - Ikos Kissamos will open in Spring 2026 on the shores of Crete, adding yet another location to the growing Ikos collection.
If you’re considering a luxury, all-inclusive beach holiday where everything is included - and it’s all done brilliantly - Ikos certainly ticks all the boxes. I’d be happy to chat through which resort might be right for you.
