I have spent time catching up with my colleagues and suppliers, plus I may have indulged in some local Greek Cuisine.

I am sure you have all been concerned that I have been back in the UK for a whole month, but do not worry, I'm off to Crete on Tuesday for 3 nights to attend the Designer Travels Annual Conference!🌎🌞✈

I'm really looking forward to spending time with colleagues and supplier partners and learning about what's new in the world of travel.

These events are always a great opportunity to gather ideas and inspiration that I can bring back to help plan even more amazing holidays.

I'll be staying at the beautiful Grecotel LUXME White Hotel, and while there will be plenty of work and networking, I'm hoping to enjoy a little bit of the Cretan sunshine too! ☀️

SJP is back at her desk.

I'm back home now and really enjoyed my stay at the 5* Anda Barut Collection in Turkey.

I have a video to share with you this time.😄

The hotel has 547 rooms, 13 villas, 7 Al la carte and 1 buffet restaurant, a Patisserie🧁🍰☕️, 5 bars, 10 pools, plus a water park, play house, gym, tennis courts, kids club and much more. All of this is divided into three zones: family, community and adult

It may be a large propery, but its been laid out so well that it never felt over crowded.

I returned from Puglia last night, but I have to share with you some photos of my final stop before flying back from Bari.

Matera is famous for its extraordinary ancient cave dwellings, known as the' Sassi', which have been inhabited for thousands of years. It’s one of the oldest continuously lived-in cities in the world, giving it a truly unique, almost timeless feel.

The city is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised for its history and the way people adapted to live in caves carved into rock

It was truly something special and just like many parts of Puglia, its perfect for anyone looking to explore the authentic, lesser-known side of Italy.

I even spotted a piece of art work for my garden and no, it's not the decorative chef statue.🤣

This week, l have loved waking up in Arberobello and strolling from my Trullo to have breakfast in the local trattoria

Yesterday we headed off into the beautiful countryside in a little Fiat Minivan that was older than me.

We learnt how to make pasta and mozzarella at a local farmers' home, and ofcourse we were treated to a farm to table lunch. The pictures say it all.

Today we visited beautiful Ostuni, dubbed as the 'white town' for its shining white buildings. Its a shame the sun never got the memo that we were here to see them.

Its also been a day where we visited a medival masseria where we walked through olive groves and sampled the local olive oil. Then this evening, it was a tour of the Cantina Torricella Winery where we were treated to wine tasting and dinner.

I wonder what tomorrow holds. Puglia is full of surprises 😮 x

I'm staying in such a cute, traditional Trulli and had the pleasure of walking through the little alleyways to reach the local trattoria for breakfast.

It was not my usual Monday morning, but I'll happily take it.

Last weekend I was coming back from Tenerife and this weekend I am off to Puglia for a few nights. I think I will just leave you with the photos of what I have to look forward to. Something tells me I won't go hungry.😋🥘

Well I may not be in the Maldives as planned, but still enjoying the sun at the Joia El Mirador Hotel in Tenerife.

I am enjoying my sea view balcony and do not worry, SJP still has palm trees to enjoy.

Nothing stopped me popping on my tropical dress and having an amazing fish dinner.

They heard I was coming as they even put on a firework display. 🎆

Well… even travel agents have to change their holiday plans sometimes! ✈️😅

Due to the current situation in the Middle East, I’m no longer heading to the Maldives and Doha as planned next week. While helping other clients adjust their plans, I also had to find a little time to sort out my own! Just shows that flexibility is sometimes part of travel — even for travel agents! Don't worry, I plan to still take this trip next year.

The good news? I’ll now be heading to sunny Tenerife next Friday instead 🌴☀️

I’ve made sure to pick a rather lovely hotel… because if I’m going, it has to meet my standards! 😄

As long as I get my palm tree fix, I should be ok. I still feel very lucky to be travelling somewhere!

As you may know I spent 10 amazing years at sea cruising the world, but I never got to cruise the Antarctic Peninsula.

I did manage to fly over it though, as Princess Cruises used to offer scenic flights over Antarctica from Punta Arenas in Chile. I somehow managed to join one of these flights and even though it was many years ago, I remember it well and always said I must return one day for a closer look.

After watching Jane McDonald as she started her "Pole to Pole" trip, on the Scenic Eclipse, the World's First Discovery Yacht, it reminded me that visiting Antarctica is still on my bucket list.

Is it on yours? Maybe it's too cold for you? I imagine as Jane continues her travels it will warm up until she reaches the Arctic Circle. I am not the greatest fan of Jane, but I will watch her trip for research purposes. Not sure about the singing at the end of the episode though.🤣🤣

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and I have a New Year's Eve treat for you. I thought I better post this today, just in case you are a little weary eyed tomorrow.🤣

For some strange reason, people seem to like hearing my voice and having a nosy at the rooms I stay in on my holidays... so if you have not have the pleasure, here it is.

This is from my stay at the gorgeous 5* Varu by Atmosphere in the Maldives earlier this year - Water Villa with a view! Just 40 minutes by speedboat from Male Airport, proper All Inclusive (I mean PROPER - sunset cruises, spa treatments, the lot!), and the warmth of the staff was amazing. I had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return.
