Susan's Blog: I'm delighted to have received Designer Travel's Diamond Award for the third year running

I’m delighted to share that I’ve been awarded Diamond status by Designer Travel again for 2026. I can honestly say it hasn’t got any less exciting!

This one feels especially good. It’s been a challenging year for our industry, with the conflict in the Middle East affecting so many people’s travel plans, so to keep this level going means a great deal to me.

Designer Travel has also had a brilliant year, with over seven awards already, the biggest being named the top homeworking company in the UK at the TTG Top 50 Awards. I’m very proud to be part of that team.

The Diamond Award recognises outstanding sales over the previous 12 months, alongside exceptional customer service, shown in part by the reviews my clients kindly leave for me. That second part matters most to me. It isn’t just about the numbers. It’s about the care that goes into every single booking.

I was touched by the message I received from Amanda Matthews, Managing Director at Designer Travel:

“Well done for hitting Diamond again this year. Thank you for all of your hard work, we are so grateful to have you on the team.”

Coming from Amanda, that meant a lot.

As I said last year, the real credit goes to my wonderful clients. Booking a holiday is one of the most important purchases anyone can make, and I’m so grateful that year after year you come to me for recommendations and guidance, and that you trust me enough to recommend me to your family and friends. I love my job, and I take great pride in finding you the perfect holiday. Seeing your photos and messages from your trips is the best part.
