Susan's Blog: Diamond Status again - I still can't quite believe it!

I'm thrilled to share that I've been awarded Diamond Status again by Designer Travel for 2025 - achieving it in the same month as last year, which I'm told is quite something!

What makes this particularly special is that 2025 has been a tougher year for the travel industry overall, so to maintain this level feels incredibly rewarding. It's not just about sales figures - it's recognition of the care and service that goes into every single booking, which is what matters most to me.

I received a lovely message from Amanda Matthews, one of Designer Travel's co-founders:

"To achieve Diamond two years in a row is a real testament to Susan's dedication and the relationships she's built with her clients. In what's been a tougher market, that consistency says it all."

That meant a lot coming from Amanda, especially as I only joined Designer Travel at the beginning of 2024. To have achieved Diamond status twice in such a short time feels like proof that I made the right move!

As I said when I won this last year, the real credit goes to my wonderful clients. Your trust, loyalty and enthusiasm for travel make what I do so enjoyable. The fact that so many of you come back year after year, and recommend me to your family and friends, is what drives these achievements.

Helping people plan their travels genuinely never feels like work - I love finding those perfect places, suggesting hidden gems and then seeing your photos and messages when you're away having the time of your lives.
