For some strange reason, people seem to like hearing my voice and having a nosy at the rooms I stay in on my holidays and work trips, so to satisfy demand - here's one I've previously been keeping to myself!
This video is from when I was in the Maldives earlier this year and stayed at the wonderful 5* Varu by Atmosphere in one of their gorgeous Water Villas...
If you're considering a trip to the Maldives, I can highly recommend this island. It's situated in the North Malé Atoll and is just a 40-minute speedboat ride from Malé Airport - so you're there before you know it!
The resort has 108 villas, 6 restaurants, 2 bars, and all the facilities you need, including dive and watersports centre, spa, gym and a kids club.
All Inclusive comes as standard. And I mean proper All Inclusive! You will not come away from this island hungry or thirsty, trust me.
They even include excursions like sunset cruises, line fishing and snorkelling trips, as well as a complimentary spa treatment. It's all in there!
My Verdict
The warmth of the staff and the quality of the accommodation were top-drawer. I had an amazing stay and cannot wait to return.
